I would definitely attend another course of yours! The first implicit bias course made me feel terrible about myself. This one made me understand things in a proper manner. We are all human and you did a great job of making sure we all understand that.

SET EVERYTHING ON F.I.R.E.!

Here's the thing... when it comes to social missteps and unfair behavior in the workplace and other social settings, we are all part of the problem. We are all guilty of saying or doing something wrong. Let's be honest. But here's the good news...we can all be the solution.

Contributing to and becoming a collective solution becomes possible when we engage in curious dialogue void of judgment. Doing so is not easy, but with the right approach, Implicit Bias programming can be enjoyable and productive, and contribute to creating and sustaining a healthier social setting.

My Implicit Bias training program is dialogue-driven and entertaining, and it uses science and psychology to explain how the brain applies bias in real-life situations. My solution to an uneasy work environment is to set it on F.I.R.E. with Forgiveness - Intentionality - Radical Curiosity - Empathy. If we all buy into building the F.I.R.E., we can reduce and solve minor issues that become big problems when left unattended.

I emailed the school and said that they should make it available for everyone in the state to access through the MDA. It was hands down the best discussion about all of those topics in a way that was relatable for every single person I could imagine. I was dreading this class but thoroughly enjoyed it. Marv is an extremely engaging speaker. Funny, thought-provoking, and genuine.
